About me
Lynsey Bilsland is the Head of Mental Health Translation at Wellcome, leading a team to develop a diverse global portfolio of tools and interventions to catalyse progress towards early identification, prediction and intervention for mental health. By 2032, we aim to have at least one new pharmacological intervention, one new non-pharmacological intervention and one new digital intervention available and in use.
Prior to Wellcome, Lynsey was a postdoctoral research fellow, funded by the Motor Neuron Disease Association and Cancer Research UK. Lynsey gained her PhD in Neuroscience from University College London and holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Pharmacology from the University of Glasgow.
