About me
Uju Aderemi is the Interim Executive Director of Global Programmes at Save the Children UK. She oversees the organisation’s international portfolio across more than 50 countries, driving transformational partnerships and programme delivery at scale.
With over 20 years of experience in international development, Uju brings deep expertise in programme leadership, systems strengthening, and cross-sector collaboration. Her work spans humanitarian and development contexts, with a strong focus on equity, locally led solutions, and digital innovation. She sponsors Save the Children’s Partnership for Impact strategy, fostering collaboration with institutional and private sector partners to amplify impact for children.
Uju has held senior roles at CARE International UK, OneWorld, and GSK. She currently serves on the Board of Elrha, supporting humanitarian research and innovation. She holds an MPH and an MBA in Public Service from the University of Birmingham and has completed executive education at the University of Oxford.
